VISIT VÁGAR     Time est. 5 hours

Come with us to the beautiful island of Vágar! We drive along the old Mountain Road to Norðadalsskarð, where the view of the island of Koltur is unspeakable beautiful – photo stops are made on the road. The island of Vágar is run through the villages of Sandavágur, Miðvágur and Sørvágur, where Sørvágsvatn is seen.

The tour continues towards the villages of Bøur and Gásadalur, where there is a magnificent view of Holmen Tindhólmur with the island of Mykines in the background. We make a stop in Bøur and come out walking in the little charming village where the babbling sound of the creek is the only thing that overcomes the silence.

In Gásadalur, the time to explore the famous Múlafossur waterfall is on its own, wander along the cliffs.

 

GOLDEN CIRCLE   Time est. 8 hours

On this tour we visit the top attractions in the Faroe Islands. The tour starts with pick-up at the hotel with a private driver and guide.

Driving past the old whaling station, Áir, to the village of Saksun surrounded by the high mountains in beautiful settings. The trip continues to the village of Tjørnuvík which is known for its big and wide beach. On the horizon you can see two historical stone formations ‘The giant & the which’.

Next stop on the tour is Gjógv. The village is named after the 200m long seafilled gorge that runs north to the sea from the village. The village is named after this gorge – on Faroese ‘Gjógv’.

 

THE TOWERING ISLANDS UP NORTH       Time est. 7 hours

The six northernmost islands in the Faroes are called the Northern Isles – and to some they are like a small country of their own. The 6000 inhabitants live in small towns that are widely spread across the magnificent steeply hilled islands, or in the town of Klaksvík, known as the fishing capital of the Faroe Islands.

Visits in several smaller villages  there among on the island Viðoy with northern most placed village in the Faroe Islands, Viðareiði, known for it’s beautifully located church with surroundings.

 

KIRKJUBØUR / NORÐRADALUR       Time est. 2 hours

We visit the old cultural and religious centre, the village of Kirkjubøur, which became a bishop in 1111; And the Ólavskirken from 1200, the oldest church in the Faroe Islands.

Herefrom we drive over the mountains old road to Norðradalsskarð where we have a great view over the island Koltur.

 

MYKINES THE BIRD ISLAND       Time est. 9 hours

Full day trip to the westernmost island of Mykines, also called the Bird Paradise, as the island has a rich birdlife. Follow the hike with our local guide, where you will be close to puffins – the little charming bird with the colourful beak.
The tour includes hotel pick-up, bus transport, ferry, guide and lunch.

 

VESTMANNA BIRD CLIFFS     Time est. 5 hours

We will drive via the mountain road to Vestmanna where the excursion boat awaits. The boat sails along the bird cliffs and grottos wall. If the weather allows it, the boat sails into a narrow strait, deep grotto and close to the 600 m high wall where thousands of seabirds breed.
On the tour we stop in village Leynar, where we can see one of the favourite beaches of the Faroese people. Also we make a stop in Kvívík, where we have some old settlements.
