Every year in July, the yearly G! Festival is held in the Faroes. The festival takes place in the small and charming village, Gøta, and offers a whole weekend of good atmosphere, entertainment, music and the famous and distinctive social interaction of the people.

The festival is characterized by the beautiful and marvellous surroundings, with the high mountains that meets the sea by the sand where the main stage is located. The festival, which since 2002 has been held every year, has received top reviews from international media, such as Gaffa, The Fly, The Guardian and Playlouder, where it in 2007, was voted the second best festival in Europe.

On the stage, Faroese and international bands and individuals are entertaining. Artists who previously have entertained at the G! Festival includes, among others, Nephew, Travis, Europe, Natasha Bedingfield and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Rag’n’Bone Man, Fatboy Slim, in addition to Faroese artists such as Teitur and Eivør, who originates from Gøta.

Every year the festival is held as a folk festival, where we now offer travel packages including airfare, accommodation, festival ticket, and transport.
